📝 How to Join King George FC
To become a member of King George FC, players must first attend a skills evaluation. These evaluations help us place players on the appropriate team based on ability, age, and readiness for competitive play.
Following the evaluation, families will receive an official invitation to register with the team if the player is accepted.
This process ensures that every player is placed in an environment that supports their growth and development while keeping teams balanced and competitive.

At King George FC, registration fees vary based on age group and team level. We strive to provide competitive soccer opportunities that remain accessible to all families.
As a non-profit organization, our mission is to keep costs affordable while delivering high-quality coaching, league play, and player development. We are committed to making sure that no child misses out on the game due to financial barriers.

🚨 Big News: KGFC Joins NCSL for Fall 2025! ⚽
We’re thrilled to announce that King George FC has been officially accepted into the National Capital Soccer League (NCSL) Recreational Division for the Fall 2025 season!
KGFC will begin play in Division 2, with the opportunity to move up to Division 1 based on team performance. This is a major step forward in expanding quality competitive soccer opportunities for our local athletes.

Frequently called Classic or Select
The NCSL Rec Division is built for players who are:
- Ready for a higher level of play than standard Parks & Rec programs
- Still developing toward full Travel Soccer—or may not be ready to commit to the travel schedule and cost
- Looking for stronger competition without sacrificing local accessibility
This is a perfect fit for our mission: giving King George players a clear and supportive development path, no matter where they are in their soccer journey.
